NHS organisations and others involved in healthcare have entered a new era of interoperability, based on more complex and business critical integration that provides real-time data/information exchange. Hence, Information that's readily available to the right people at the right time, enabling them to act quickly, safely and decisively is critical in the new patient-centric NHS environment
In this modern digital age, Data from multiple disparate sources needs to be made readily available where and when its needed to facilitate seamless communication between care providers. Traditionally, such valuable data has been locked in separate data stores that can only be accessed by a limited number of applications/devices, restricting organisations to unleash its true potential.
MediTech Solutions can work with disparate data sources by engineering proprietary interfaces to work together to satisfy the clinical need for ‘Fully Integrated’ information.
Our technical team will take stock of the current technical setup and accordingly work with you to develop a strategy for systems integration that will allow you to realise the desired benefits and exploit any investment. We can work with any systems by using our existing APIs or if needed, designing new interfaces to enable your organisation to function effectively and efficiently.
Healthcare organisations encounter a variety of standards for communication between different systems. But HL7, which is an ANSI accredited Standards Developing Organization (SDO), is a standard platform that is widely acceptable in the healthcare arena. Their objective is the production of standards or specifications in the clinical and administrative data domain and electronic exchange.
MediTech Solutions can work with our clients’ organisations to expertly apply messaging, clinical coding and data standards such as:

The Real Experts For HL7 v3
As part of evolving the HL7 standard, HL7 has delivered version 3 of the HL7 standard using XML. The HL7 Clinical Document Architecture (CDA) is based on the HL7 v3 Reference Information Model (RIM) and HL7 data types, with various levels of conformance for implementation.
The NHS has long since adopted the use of the HL7 toolset in order to produce message definitions to support its system and service implementations and so it was a natural evolution for the NHS to adopt HL7 v3 to underpin the NHS NPfIT systems. HL7 v3 is a defined and accepted standard in the healthcare industry and our experts can help your organisation to adopt and implement it. We possess specialist skills in development and delivery using HL7 version 3 and CDA. We have created a variety of HL7 tools to aid the development and interpretation of the specifications. These tools constitute the HL7 toolset used by a number of HL7 members from around the world including the UK’s NHS.
